My name is Jono Maloney, I’m 26 years old I work in a coal washery in the Hunter Valley. I’ve always loved my sport (particularly cricket and rugby league) and since I was a little fella country music has always been in my life.

 

When all the other kids were getting Eminem CD’s, I was getting Keith Urban albums. I play a range of old American country, to more modern country and have a real love of our Aussie ballads as well. I’m loving this musical chapter in my life that has started to open up over the past couple of years, which is largely because of the people I have met at Wandilla.

 

This year will be my 4th time at Music in the Mulga along with my partner Jordie, so it has become a super special event that we won’t ever be able to turn down.

 

Can’t wait to get dirty out at Wandilla with you all again this year!
