Gleneagle musician and former dairy farmer Keith Dunn is back signing favourites from his album "Memories".
I have been entertaining around the Beaudesert district for a lot of years, but it’s only been the last few years that I have been able to go further afield, being a dairy farmer restricted the distances that I could travel, but now retired from that I can concentrate on my music. I have finally got around to recording a couple of cd’s the latest early this year the proceeds of which I have donated to the Flying Doctors and The Children’s hospital, to date I have donated over $20,000 to these charities.
It was a dream come true recording my first CD but now my second one has become a reality, it’s been an exciting journey writing the songs and piecing them all together some with the memories of my younger days and others of more recent times I have decided to donate the proceeds of this CD to the Children’s Hospital Foundation, anything we can do to help make these innocent young people live a normal life makes it all worthwhile.
Helping out once again were my good friends Adam Pupuni on guitar Julie Seils-Muscat on Bass and Ray Ferrar on drums, also this time a Young friend Jake West playing some wonderful guitar on some of the songs. Also thank you very much to my sister Ann, Tracy Ward and Kelly Stewart who added some beautiful harmony to the songs and a special thanks once again to my son Matt with his inspiring whistle in The Fishing Song, and a big big thankyou to Rob Davis on Banjo and Tamara Royan on violin for helping make the song Sweet Elly so special, Rob and Tamara can also be heard adding their talents to a few more songs as well.
